Thank you Home Instead Etobicoke and especially Client Care Coordinator Maria Canlas who showed patience, compassion and experience in managing a difficult situation with our sister who was experiencing forgetfulness and being overwhelmed / desperate / near breakdown with daily activities such as too much paperwork, email issues, computer, cell phone challenges but not house cleaning or health related. Her first meeting showed her independent nature and ended with a “flat no, I don’t need help”. However. Maria at the second meeting developed a rapport with her and set up a daily plan which is currently in place with caregiver Rosemary who also developed a rapport. Thank you again Maria.
