The first half will focus on an education topic; the rest of the session will be based on discussion & support. The Support Group can identify a need for an education topic to be implemented.

Third annual Mississauga Halton CCAC Health Fair

Building a Healthy Community Together

Sept. 14, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lakeshore Convention Centre, 806 Southdown Rd, Mississauga, ON, L5J 2Y4

Home Instead Senior Care Mississauga will be participating in the Third annual Mississauga Halton CCAC Health Fair.

The Health Fair is an event designed to help us all learn more about the valuable health care resources/services available to support residents across our region, which includes South Etobicoke, Mississauga, Milton, Oakville and Halton Hills.

Centennial Park Place 

April 21, 6:00 pm - 8:00pm, 25 Centennial Park Rd, Etobicoke, ON, M9C 5H1

Jennifer Churchill, our staff trainer,  will facilitate an Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias support group. This support group will allow family members, who have loved ones living with Dementia, to share their experiences with each other.

Information both at Shoppers Home Health Care

February 25, at Shoppers Home Health Care, 5230 Dundas St. West

We have a booth at Shoppers Home Health Care every last Thursday of the month, where we provide information to customers about in home care servicer and the support we offer to the Etobicoke community.


Government and Community Services Fair

February 20 from 11am – 3pm at Cloverdale Mall (250 The East Mall), Etobicoke

This fair features over 110 exhibitors from the provincial government, along with community agencies and organizations.

Home Instead will have a booth to provide information about our in-home care services for seniors in the Etobicoke area.

This fair is co-hosted by Yvan Baker MPP and Peter Milczyn MPP.
