Home Instead Senior Care is hiring caring and compassionate individuals who want to help older adults remain at home by offering individualized one-on-one support. As a CCA, you will help our clients tackle the various cognitive and physical challenges associated with aging while enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
While the type of services you deliver will depend on your skills, personality, and the needs of our clients, potential duties include:
- Companionship and conversation
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Incontinence care
- Ostomy care
- Palliative Care
- Alzheimer’s care
- Assistance with Medication
- Home Support
- Accompanying clients to appointments
Home Instead Senior Care commits to ongoing skill development by providing paid training and ongoing support. 12-hour overnights and days are offered, as well as shorter shifts (minimum 3 hours), and schedules occur on a weekly ongoing basis. Group medical benefits with employer contributions are also available.
Upon hire, candidates must provide proof of CCA certificate or equivalent. Equivalents include, but are not limited to:
LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse)
PSW(Personal Support Worker)
PCW(Personal Care Worker)
CNA(Certified Nursing Assistant)
Candidates must also be fluent in written and spoken English and, upon hire, provide a clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check.
