Scott Johnson is the managing director at the Oakville office of Home Instead Senior Care. Scott has lived in Oakville with his wife Leslie and his daughters Ashley and Alex for over 30 years. He earned a business degree from Ryerson University in 1981, majoring in information technology. Scott started his own business in 1989. His main focus in this business was computer system engineering and technical consulting. Scott became interested in Home Instead Senior Care due to his grandmother`s situation. His grandmother needed to move from her own home to a long term care facility at 99 years of age due to memory problems. Scott said, I often thought that my grandmother could have stayed in her home longer with the help of Home Instead Senior Care. Scott; however, is in a position to help other seniors in that same situation.
Natalie joined Home Instead Senior Care in September of 2018. She spent many years working as a Paralegal in Toronto. The knowledge and experience gained working in a law office has been a huge benefit in her new position. Natalie manages the orientation and training of our new employees. She guides and mentors them to become the best CAREGivers in our industry. Natalie lives in Milton with her husband Mina and their son Benny.
Mackenzie joined Home Instead Senior Care in August of 2019. She has an educational background in the social sciences and six years of customer service experience. This combination of expertise makes her a great addition to the Home Instead team where our care is always personal, and our clients always come first. Currentlly, in the office she assists with billing, invoicing and payroll and is the first point of contact for any inquiries or concerns. Shortly, Mackenzie will be transitioning to her new role of Contract Coordinator. With her friendly and caring nature, she is a welcoming face upon entering the office.

Kissmah joined the
Home Instead team in April 2017. Before working with our team Kissmah
worked in the health care industry for 14 years at University Health Network and then
onto another home care company where she learned all about the vastly growing home care industry. Kissmah lives in Milton with her musician of a
husband, son Dustin and her mother. She has finally found her “home” at Home
Instead. She enjoys working with the team and finding the perfect caregiver for
Stephanie joined our Home Instead team in 2015. Stephanie has a health science degree from Brock University with focus in geriatrics. She has a passion for senior care and considerable knowledge pertaining to the importance of effectively caring for our aging population. She also recognizes the increasing needs within this vulnerable sector of people, and the stresses associated with changes in health, ability and cognition. This knowledge helps Stephanie effectively relay HISC services, their value and the importance of home health care within our service communities and beyond. Stephanie lives in Hamilton with her husband Andy, daughter Abigail and their Saint Bernard Shelby.
Kathy joined Home Instead Senior Care in December of 2010 as a CAREGiver, and joined our office staff as our Administrative Assistant. Kathy has, in the past worked in a retirement home and in a long term care facility in Burlington. Kathy grew up in Toronto, went to St. Josephs High School and graduated from Seneca College with a Coaching Certificate. She also studied Police Sciences. Somewhere along the way Kathy became a professional cook. Kathy did years of volunteer work in the schools of her 5 children as well as the Kinnete Club of Oakville. Recently, she became involved with the Burlington Cancer Society and raised $2,700.00 through her participation in the Two Day Walk to End Cancer. She enjoys family, friends and travel.
Veronica joined Home Instead in August 2014. She moved to Canada in 2009 and she has in the past worked in long-term care facilities in the United Kingdom and recently in Brandon, Manitoba. She has a passion for caring for people and she often volunteers in her local community. Veronica graduated from the RN program at York University in 2017. Veronica lives in Oakville with her husband, Peter and four children.
