Learn. Educate. Share.

There are 564,000 Canadians currently living with dementia. The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada predicts that everyone is touched by this condition at some point in their lifetime. Those living with Alzheimer’s may include our parents, spouses, clients, co-workers, neighbours, or grandparents. We need to become more educated on this disease so that we can fight for them.
Do the right thing and join us on Alzheimer’s Learning Day so together, we can be better prepared to care for our friends and loved ones.

  • Pledge to participate in Alzheimer’s Learning Day by going to
  • From spreading awareness to learning more about the disease, you have a part to play in this day
  • After you pledge, be sure to sign up for the free Alzheimer’s Learning Day webinars on the 26th. There will be one for family caregivers at 1pm CT and another for senior care professionals at 3pm CT
  • YOU can make a difference, even if you only have 5 minutes!

You can:
1. Pledge in honour of a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia disorder
2. Learn the symptoms
3. Read an article
4. Take an e-learning class
5. Share with others on social media
6. Call a family member with Alzheimer’s, or share a care tip with a family caregiver.

Making the time to pledge could mean so much to someone with Alzheimer’s and his or her family members.

On September 26, do the right thing and take the first steps into learning more about Alzheimer’s.
