Home Instead Senior Care is looking for Part Time CAREGivers to join us in our mission of serving Calgary and Okotoks seniors! No formal experience or certification is needed. You bring the heart, patience and reliability. We provide you with world class training and support to help you become a successful, professional CAREGiver. Successful applicants will have exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to build relationships.

Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Working with seniors who have Dementia

• Meal Planning and Preparation

• Assistance with Personal care which includes: Bathing, grooming, Dressing and toileting

• Community engagement through social outings, transportation to appointments and more

• Medication reminders/ Assistance

• Light Housekeeping

• Shifts are available during the day, evening, weekend and overnight. Must have the same availability each week

Home Instead Senior Care provides high quality care to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. We are a rapidly growing company with offices worldwide. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of medical and non-medical services that allow seniors to meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Some of our clients only require a little help around the house to remain safe and independent. Other clients have more advanced needs and require more complex care. Many of our clients still live in their homes while some are living in Facilities.

We are looking for caring and compassionate Health Care Aids (HCA) to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.

What we offer our employees:

Only ONE client per shift (minimum of 3 hour shifts) so that you can focus on the client and not just the tasks.

  • You won’t have to juggle multiple clients each day; this allows you to focus on providing high quality care
  • You will be assigned the same client/clients on a weekly basis to promote continuity of care
  • Strong support and backup from our office

  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check and provide 2 professional and 2 personal references
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Possess a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
  • Must be able to read and write in English at an extremely high level, a second language is also an asset
  • Be able to commit to a set schedule

LPN’s, We are looking for a few great LPN’s. Are you tired of working where you aren’t valued?

  • Palliative/End of life care

Job Requirements:

  • Current LPN registration required
  • Home care experience an asset
  • Have a genuine compassion for seniors.
