Shawn has recently been awarded by Business in Edmonton with being a Business Leader 2015. Business in Edmonton is a monthly publication dedicated to producing timely and interesting articles about people, trends and events that make Alberta’s capital city an economic powerhouse and hotbed for entrepreneurs.
Every month Business in Edmonton publishes a new issue highlighting a company in Edmonton whether it is as small as a start-up or as big as a corporate giant. Shawn and Home Instead Senior Care, Edmonton, were one of twenty business to receive this prestigious honor.
Shawn has been with Home Instead Senior Care Edmonton for 4 years now, bringing his experience to help care for elders. Shawn is very passionate about Home Care, his first experience with elder care was as a child when his parents took care of his grandmother. His parents, ultimately, needed to put his grandmother in a facility to take care of her specific needs that his parents could not attend to. He knows from personal experience, that everyone wants to have options for senior care to help them with their aging loved ones.
One of Shawn’s significant tools in understanding how to provide better care is listening to the feedback and responses he gets from the families he and Home Instead Edmonton, are working with. It reminds him of Home Insteads mission and re-ensures the fact that
Home Instead CAREGivers are providing quality senior care, helping to make the lives of the client's family a bit easier. Which is always the top priority at Home Instead. Shawn wants to help prevent other families from having the same experience as he did, by providing quality and reliable
in-home care services that he and his family never knew they had the chance to receive.
Congratulations Shawn and to everyone at Home Instead Edmonton for your achievement and continued prosperity. Bringing peace of mind to families and aging loved ones by being able to help seniors age in place in an effort to keep their identity, comfort, and independence.
