Invited Speaker: IPC Specialist, Alberta Health Services

This workshop will address basic "Outbreak Management" for home & supportive living settings. Learn more about how outbreaks (e.g., norovirus, influenza) are managed, and how best practices can be applied for prevention, mitigation and control.


All our workshops are FREE and open to the public; seniors and/or family members (family caregivers) are welcome. Health care professionals and caregivers are also welcome.

PRE-REGISTRATION required. Please PRE-REGISTER  at least 3 business days in advance, and a confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail.

  • Choose your time: this 90-minute workshop is offered at 8:30 a.m. OR 2:00 p.m.

Maximum 14 registrants per workshop; early registration is recommended. Please note, course dates are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. If fewer than 6 participants pre-register for a workshop, you will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail, no less than 2 business days in advance.

NOTE: All workshops are held in the Family Education Training Centre at our West Edmonton office – 13B Fairway Drive (in Westbrook mall, near 119 St. & 37 Ave in Aspen Gardens area).
