Job Details

With a career as a CAREGiver at Home Instead Senior Care, you can help families by offering individualized care for their aging loved ones. You’ll share your unique talents and experiences to help seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

_____________________________________________________________________________________We offer part-time positions with the availability to work full time hours, and are able to give you the flexibility needed to get the perfect work/life balance.

Our ideal CAREGiver candidate:

  • Has a flexible schedule and is available to work a minimum of two days per week up to full-time hours
  • Is self-directed, and takes own intitiative
  • Has tact, compassion and patience.
  • Is able to separate personal responsibility from professional, thereby giving our clients 100% due care and attention
  • Has a cell phone and is comfortable with learning new apps, texting and/or emailing
  • Is interested in continuous learning
  • Has a driver’s license and full time access to a reliable vehicle


Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Medication cueing and reminders
  • Personal care assistance and cueing
  • Home help, including: light housekeeping tasks, laundry and meal preparation
  • Properly maintain documentation regarding client activities, tasks, progress or reporting concerns
  • Companionship and conversation

What does becoming a Home Instead CAREGiver look like:

Home Instead Senior Care commits to ongoing skill development of our staff by providing paid training and ongoing support

  • We provide extensive training with Alzheimer's and Dementia, Hospice and Palliative care etc.

Daytime, evening, overnight and weekend hours are offered.

  • Visits are 3 hours minimum and can be up to 12 hours with recurring clients.

  • Our small office staff is interested in getting to know you, so we can successfully match you to our seniors and their family while providing 24-hour emergency supervisory support. "It's all about fulfilling relationships".
