During a client visit, Desiree took the lead by observing and reporting changes to her clients condition and was able to facilitate a transfer to hospital quickly and professionally which resulted in early treatment and short hospital stay for the client. She went with him to hospital to support the client and his family, as they live out the city.

Lori has invested almost 1000 hours of care with our seniors. She builds trust with her clients by staying with them until, whatever time, their family arrives home. If a client’s family is ever delayed for any reason, she contacts the office to advise us that she will stay with the client until someone comes home in order to ensure that the client is safe. Lori is a newer addition to our team of companions, but a natural born caregiver at heart. She takes the lead

being given. Recently Lori even went out of her way, on her own time, to
take a visiting family member of her clients around town to run some
errands. She was concerned that they may get lost because they were not
familiar with Hamilton and live overseas. The family was truly

physically or emotionally, and if there are any necessary changes to

attention to meeting the needs of her clients and following all aspects
of the care plan. She takes the lead by

Rhodelyn has a very kind and gentle way about her and

hobbies. Santana is educated and trained as a Community Service Worker
which helps her create memories, share stories and communicate not only
with her clients, but their families as well. Everyday she comes to work
ready to make a difference, whether it is helping her fellow CAREGivers
by picking up extra shifts or finding new ways to meet the needs of
seniors in our community. Santana is a true delight to work with and a
real asset to our team.
Sandra has many years of experience taking care of
seniors and we were very fortunate when she joined our team back in
September of this year.She has a calming personality and a natural
ability to care for people even in stressful situations. I think it is
her ability to empathize with her clients that makes her a shining star.
Sandra takes the lead by making suggestions that will
benefit the client or trying new approaches to solve difficult problems.
She is always helping out her fellow CAREGivers by picking up extra
shifts or by giving the office flexible availability to meet our clients
needs. Sandra is always friendly, has a positive attitude towards others
and you have to smile just talking to her because of her sense of
humour. It is wonderful working with her and and her clients feel the
Walter is such an asset to our team and such a delight to work with . He builds trust
with the family and client he is currently with by always showing up on
time, reporting any concerns in a timely fashion and keeping in good
communication with the office. Walter is a very respectful,
compassionate and caring person and he shares his heart
by treating his client like he would his own family. He has gone the
extra mile by bringing in music and books from home that he knew his
client would enjoy just to make him feel more comfortable in his new
surroundings. Both the facility Walter works out of and the family of
his client can't say enough good things about what a great job he has
done and the difference he is making. Walter is a true team player by
picking up extra shifts and helping out when asked to do extra tasks. We
are very proud to have Walter as part of our team and we can all learn
from his example.
