Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance while ensuring clients' comfort and dignity.
• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Prepare and cook meals according to clients' dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engaging conversation to enhance clients' well-being.

Preferred Candidates:

• PSWs (Personal Support Workers), RPNs (Registered Practical Nurses), RNs (Registered Nurses), or individuals with a background in healthcare or home care.
• Minimum one year of caregiving or personal care experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• A PSW Certificate is required or 2^nd year or higher registration in an RN/RPN program with proof of enrollment
• Must complete a criminal background check.
• Must provide two professional references.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A vulnerable sector check and a 2-step TB test may be required.
