To Us, It’s Personal®
When the Home Instead Senior Care® network's co-founders Paul and Lori Hogan began providing care for Paul's grandmother to help her remain at home, they envisioned a future where all people could age with greater hope and success. With that vision, they founded Home Instead, Inc. in 1994, introducing the world to in-home senior care.
Paul interviewed the company's first prospective CAREGiversSM from his mother's dining room table. When Grandma Manhart came in the room, Paul carefully watched how each applicant interacted with her. This was his way of ensuring that each prospective CAREGiver had the compassion necessary to serve other seniors in their community.
Since then, the Home Instead Senior Care network has grown into the largest senior care organization in the world, including more than 1,000 franchise offices in the U.S. and 11 global markets. And yet each independently owned and operated franchise office still maintains a small community feel, rooted in family values.
The Home Instead Senior Care network believes in caring for its employees as much as they care for the seniors living in their communities. CAREGivers are the hands and heart of each franchise office. When you become a member of a CAREGiving team, you'll get the support you need, including best-in-class training and an empowering office staff, to thrive in your career.
