Lisette Wirta

​Your Home Instead Senior Care franchise owner possesses a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in her community. It's the reason why she was chosen to serve seniors and their families right here in Sudbury, ON. Learn more about her passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors in your community.

Wayne Wirta, Director of Operations

​Wayne is an important part of the Home Instead Family and will ensure his team is providing excellent client service to the senior community in the Greater Sudbury and Algoma District. He has a natural knack when it comes to leadership and continuous support to his team and colleagues. His patience and understanding is a quality that will be an asset in moving forward with the future of our services and our community. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing, camping and family time at the lake. Wayne has been an important part of the Home Instead Family for many years but now, he is looking forward to continuing his support by accepting a position as Director of Operations at the Home Instead Office in Sudbury.

Nikki Sage, Home Care Consultant

What are the common characteristics often used to describe Nikki? Well she has been told by her peers that she has a driven personality, a positive attitude and dedicated work ethic!

Nikki started her career with Home Instead Senior Care back in 2015 coordinating the Be a Santa to a Senior program. The success of that event launched her journey in enhancing the lives of older adults as she transitioned into a full time Community Outreach Coordinator. Within her four years as a Community Outreach Coordinator, Nikki has developed many partnerships, organized various community events, and positioned the company as a trusted resource in the community. Nikki loves working for a company that is dedicated to helping others and is motivated by endeavors that make a difference in her community. For example, she is a co-host of Ageing in Action TV show on Eastlink and organizes the ever-growing Ageing in Place Symposium. Nikki provides various educational presentations, works with her team on special projects and coordinates community events. Nikki's educational background in Theater Arts has allowed her to take her creativity and dynamic personality with her in her work pursuits, which gives her a unique advantage over her colleagues.

In her personal life, Nikki is married to her husband Bryan and they live together with two fur babies named Lola and Jasmine. In her spare time Nikki enjoys singing, songwriting and most importantly being a fur mama!


Cassandra Fortin, Inquiry Specialist

Since my start at Home Instead, I have learned so much about our community and the great people who make it. My goal as the Inquiry Specialist is to continue to build trust and emotional connection with others and always bring to mind a true Home Instead experience. I am dedicated to working hard in the effort to help other people, while at the same time, providing an old fashioned quality of life for my family. Outside of work, my family and photographing people are my passions.

Natalie Chauvin, Office Coordinator

With 13 years experience in the Health Care field and customer service. Natalie has joined the Home Instead Senior Care team confidently in her new role as Office Coordinator. Her willingness and dedication to helping the elderly and their families within our community is done with great passion and with an open heart.

Natalie's communication and listening are just a few skills out of many and one of her greatest attributes. She is always willing to contribute in any way possible.

Natalie also enjoys spending time with her dog Diesel by her side. They as a duo go kayaking and camping as a few examples, also she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family.

Nicole Charbonneau, Service Coordinator

Becoming a PSW in 2007, and a scheduler sometime later, Nicole brings years of caring for our vulnerable population with passion.

Ensuring our clients and caregivers have the best possible care and experience is most important to her. When she’s not working to improve the lives of others, she loves spending time with her furry companion Cruz, and her two children fishing and camping.

Ashley Verge, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Ashley is a recent graduate from Cambrian College where she has obtained her Human Resources Management Certificate. She has many years in the Health Care field working in hospitals and retirement living. Ashley is excited to be joining us as our recruitment Coordinator. She is dedicated to working hard in recruiting the best possible CAREGivers to provide the exceptional care/services to your loved ones.
In her personal life she enjoys spending time at her camp with family, her Husband Andre and their two Siamese cats Lucky Boy and Lulu Bear.

Christopher Brewster , Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

With a strong focus on customer service and a high degree of pride in his work ethic, Christopher is a leader in any work place. Christopher sets the bar high when it comes to customer satisfaction. He has a knack for dealing with customers and clients, and ensures everyone has a pleasant experience. He is also a mental heath advocate and aims at breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness. He enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his fiancée, and his two daughters, guiding them with love and compassion and passing on his perseverance and determination to succeed when faced with challenges. He is looking forward to becoming an integral member of the team

Patrick St. Germain - Bookkeeper

Patrick is a recent graduate from College Boreal where he has obtained his Human Resource Management Certificate. Patrick also has his degree in Business Administration – Accounting and Business Administration – Commerce. With his love for client care and numbers Patrick has done his placement not only with Home Instead for Human Resources but also Accounting and Business in 2019. He is someone who loves to not only spend time with his family, but he also loves to travel and fish.

Michelle Paquin - Service Coordinator

Since the day Michelle was old enough to work, her passion & second nature has been customer service. She always enjoys helping others. She loves to entertain, plan, D.I.Y’s and more importantly her two children, “Terrilynn and Randy”, and her 9 month old grand-daughter Gracelyn. Many people have nicknamed her Ace Ventura because of her love for all animals and their love for her. She has two Yorkies named Meadow and Cindle and a 40 gallon aquarium full of Glow fish. Her moto is Positive actions gives positive outcome.
