Home Care Benefit 

Julie's passion for helping seniors and their families is shown every day in her work with community education and advocacy. She is responsible for the daily operations of Home Instead Senior Care ensuring the highest quality of care to clients by providing over 200 CAREGivers with a meaningful employment.

One of the largest community programs she has initiated is the 'Be A Santa To A Senior' program that has delivered over 35,000 gifts to isolated seniors in Winnipeg over the past 10 years. This program teams up various community organizations to ensure Winnipeg's most isolated and lonely populations at Christmas time are delivered a gift along with a handmade children's card and a friendly visit.

Born and raised in Winnipeg Julie is a graduate of the Asper School of Business in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. She is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal presented by the Canadian Home Care Association, first ever Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2011 by the Woman Business Owners of Manitoba for her excellence in business. In 2012, she was named one of The Uniter's 30 under 30, was a YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction nominee. Additionally Home Instead has been recognized at as finalist in Community Service Excellence by the BBB in 2014 and in 2015 Julie was presented with the CBC Future 40 Award.

​Jojo Yap is our Client Care Manager who oversees each Client Care Plan and the Care Team. With 6 years' experience on the Home Instead team Jojo understands the complexities to aging care needs and will help find innovative ways on how we can help ensure our clients' needs are met every step of the journey.

​As our Client Care Coordinator Christelle oversees the Care Plans for our Clients. Christelle has been with Home Instead for over 5 years and we are proud that she has used her skills and experience to help her achieve her RN designation.

Alanna Rogan is our Home Care Consultant and provides support to families and their loved ones to understand the resources available to help support them. With a wealth of experience both within our office and working with seniors she understands the complexities of caregiving and how we can find innovative ways to help.

​Meg joins the Home Instead team with a wealth of experience helping families and their loved ones navigating care. With a Master's in Social Work Degree (MSW) and is a Registered Social Worker in Manitoba.

she specialized in Gerontology and has always enjoyed working for and with Seniors. Megs energy and passion are contagious and we are so excited to have her on our team to help ensure our CAREGivers and Clients have the perfect match. No matter how busy, Meg always takes to time to listen and is always ready to give a big hug when our CAREGivers visit.

In her down time, Meg has been volunteering at the Health Science Center, Winnipeg and A & O: Support Services For Older Adults since 2017. Meg is a trained professional East Indian Classical Dancer ("Bharatnatyam"- Dance Form). She likes to taste various Vegetarian dishes and she enjoys travelling

​Jeannette Brigit is our Community Service Coordinator and provides education about our programs and services to the community. After retiring from her career as clergy Jeannette came to Home Instead as a CAREGiver and grew into her current role naturally. Her biggest program she heads in our Be A Santa to a Senior raising over 13,000 gifts to date!
