Our social purpose starts in London, ON but it carries on across the world.
The Home Instead network works to create a world where people own their aging journeys. We want all generations to age on their own terms, authentic to who they are as unique individuals, and connected to things that provide them with purpose.
This vision drives us to expand the world’s capacity to care.
Giving Back
Home Instead helps older adults age with greater hope and success whether they're our clients or not. Because we believe everyone deserves to age with grace and dignity, we strive to make that vision a reality by creating a world that's ready to care for each other.
From our involvement with the Walk to End Alzheimer's or our holiday give-back program, Be a Santa to a Senior, Home Instead is out to make a difference.
James served as a Board Member for the Alzheimer’s Society of London Middlesex for 6 years helping guide the local association as one of the premier associations in the country.
James served as a Board member for CARP London Chapter for 6 years. Home Instead is an Advocacy Partner working with local chapters to raise awareness and advocate for seniors in the London
BBQ’n For Seniors is an initiative Home Instead of London has created that provides BBQ’s for organizations throughout the community to raise money for their causes in hopes of improving the lives of seniors
Be a Santa to a Senior is an initiative that Home Instead of London has implemented since opening in 2010 and has delivered over 12,000 gifts to needy and isolated seniors in the community.
Each year Home Instead of London walks as the Mollie’s Marchers team in the Walk for Alzheimer’s in memory of James’ grandma Mollie Chalmers.
