At Home Instead Barrie, we believe in sharing our hearts with our clients by providing them the professional care they need to heal at home. We have an opening for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide supervision, training, and oversight to our Care Professional’s in the field. This person will also oversee and delegate specialized services to our Care Pro’s.
Necessary Skills:
• Current RPN license to practice in Ontario, Canada
• Be self-directed
• Ability to make sound decisions
• Can demonstrate leadership, organizational skills
• Has excellent assessment skills
• Be a teacher, problem solver, good listener, and able to think and work independently
• Has delegation experience
• Computer aptitude is essential The RPN will be responsible for implementing and following provincial and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
Geriatric experience and knowledge of in-home care regulations and nurse delegations is a plus. Experience in a supervisory capacity is an asset. This position requires travel to clients' homes, and administration skills.
This will be a casual, flexible schedule of approximately ten (10) hours a week. Must have own cell phone with active voicemail.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have current valid RPN License to practice in Ontario, Canada
