Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Thornhill

RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Personal Care assistance
  • Alzheimer’s Care
  • Hospice and Palliative support
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum qualifications to be a Personal Support Worker:
  • Completion of Personal Support Worker diploma OR
  • Completion of Nursing degree in any country OR
  • Currently enrolled in a nursing program, having completed at least one year
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Possessing a valid driver's license, a vehicle, and valid auto insurance is an asset
  • Complete a criminal background check
  • Available to work at least 20 hours a week

Location:
  • Markham area including Unionville and Thornhill
Language:
  • English
