We are seeking a fully fluent Spanish-speaking Home Support Worker to provide compassionate, one-on-one care for a senior client in Richmond, BC. This is a language-specific role, as the client primarily communicates in Spanish, so strong verbal fluency is essential.

Shift Details
Morning shift: 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Afternoon/Evening shift: 2:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Overnight shift: 9:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Days may vary depending on client needs and Care Pro availability
One or more shifts may be available
Key Responsibilities
Provide respectful personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Support dementia-related needs with patience and reassurance
Provide medication reminders
Assist with safe mobility at home and during outings
Prepare simple, nutritious meals
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Engage the client in meaningful and comforting activities
Observe and report any changes in condition
Respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations
Your consistency, kindness, and Spanish-language support will have a direct impact on this client’s quality of life.
Qualifications and Requirements
Fully fluent Spanish speaker (required)
Experience supporting seniors, particularly those living with dementia
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a home setting
Ability to perform essential job duties
Reliable transportation (driver’s license preferred)
Flexible availability, including overnight shifts if applicable
Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, healthcare, or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent
