We are currently looking for a Mandarin-speaking Care Professional to support seniors in the Richmond community. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and comfortable providing person-centred care while communicating in both Mandarin and English.
Whether you have previous caregiving experience or a strong passion for helping others, we welcome individuals who value respect, patience, and meaningful relationships.
About the Role
As a Care Professional, you will support Mandarin-speaking older adults with daily living needs while helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and independence at home.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation in Mandarin
- Assisting with personal care, including toileting, showering, grooming, and hygiene
- Supporting meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Helping with errands, appointments, and daily routines as needed
- Promoting client safety, comfort, and overall well-being
- Completing clear and accurate documentation in English using our Care App, with training provided
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must reside in or near Richmond, BC
- Fluent in Mandarin and comfortable communicating in English
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional
- Minimum 6 months of caregiving, home support, or related experience preferred
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle preferred, but not mandatory
- Ability to complete a criminal background check
