Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver who speaks Greek? Home Instead is looking for a caring Greek-speaking Care Professional to support seniors in Surrey and help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

This is a meaningful opportunity to build positive relationships with seniors while providing personalized, one-on-one care.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Accompanying clients to appointments and errands
• Supporting clients with mobility and daily routines
• Providing specialized support for clients living with dementia or Alzheimer's
• Documenting completed care and reporting any changes or concerns

Requirements

Successful applicants must:

• Speak Greek fluently or conversationally
• Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
• Have previous caregiving or personal care experience
• Be comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Be able to provide a clear criminal record check
• Have a valid Class 5 driver's license
• Have access to a reliable vehicle
• Carry business-use vehicle insurance
• Be able to provide a clean driver's abstract
• Be available to work at least one weekend day each week
• Maintain consistent availability during the first three months of employment

CPR and First Aid certification are considered an asset.
