Brent Bechard

Brent Bechard

Owner and Managing Director

I am proud to be the Owner of the Home Instead Senior Care franchise serving Brampton, Caledon, Halton Hills and Woodbridge. I grew up in Brampton and Caledon East and now live with my family in Halton Hills. I have a strong sense of community pride and aspire to become an active contributor to the well-being of the seniors in our community. I have met with our clients and families and have seen, first hand, the positive impact the care provided by our dedicated CAREGivers has added to their lives. Our team of CAREGivers, Office Staff and I are fully committed to providing your loved ones with the finest care they deserve.

Melissa Terranova

Melissa Terranova

Client Care Manager

Before joining Home Instead, Melissa worked as a designer and CAD technician in Toronto. After 10 years as a stay-at-home mom of three lovely children, she decided to take her caregiving skills and put them to another use. Melissa spent 5 years caring for seniors in the community before moving into an office position as the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, where she worked closely with our employees for just over 5 years. During her role as R&E Coordinator she maintained a close relationship with applicants, and employees, to make sure they were trained, prepared, and properly informed of care plans so they would be ready to help our seniors. Melissa was eager to have all staff take the Alzheimer's and Dementia training so our seniors would have skilled CarePro's and our staff would be better suited to assist families and clients with memory care questions. Melissa has now taken her skills of compassion and understanding to the next level with Home Instead as the new Client Care Manager and General Manager of our Vaughan office. With strong customer service, patience, and personality, we feel she will continue to support our seniors, their families, employees, and our business relationships. She looks forward to continuing her efforts in assisting our community of aging adults wherever they call home.
