At Home Instead, we see every day how much joy pets bring to the lives of seniors. Because we believe every animal deserves that same chance at a happy life, we had to spotlight a local event that will support cats and kittens who are still waiting for their forever homes.
On Saturday, June 13th, from 9am to 2pm, the Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is hosting the Tails and Treasures Community Yard Sale and Vendor Market at 85 County Road 32. As a volunteer-run, no-kill shelter, the GDHS relies on the generosity of neighbors like you to provide medical care, food, and safety for abandoned or surrendered cats. Mark your calendar and spend a Saturday morning treasure hunting, or donate gently used items and baked goods to sell!
