For many seniors in our community, the holiday season can be one of the loneliest times of the year. At Home Instead, we believe that no one should feel forgotten during the holidays, which is why we were so excited to bring the Be a Santa to a Senior (BASTAS) program to Kingston for the very first time!
Across North America, this program has helped deliver over 2.5 million gifts to isolated seniors. Because of your generosity, we were able to deliver over 50 personalized gifts this December. Thank you to the Kingston community for joining us!
This program only works because of the amazing partners who stepped up to help us. We want to extend a huge thank you to Chartwell Conservatory Pond for providing the beautiful tree that held our ornaments, and to the team at Providence Care for connecting us with the seniors who needed a little extra cheer this year. As Home Instead strives to provide the best home care in Kingston, Ontario, we are already looking forward to making next year even bigger so that every senior in our city feels the warmth of the holidays.
