Our local healthcare system is facing significant challenges related to overcapacity, and navigating a hospital stay can be overwhelming for patients and their families. Recently, Dan and Leeann from our Kingston office spoke with staff and families at Kingston General Hospital. They talked about home care in Kingston, Ontario, and how we help seniors stay independent while easing the pressure on our local hospitals. While we were there, we also took a moment to recognize the work social workers do to support patients and families as they navigate the healthcare system.
