Caregiver/PSW

The TORONTO EAST office of Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals

*Must be eligible to work in Canada*

Available for:

• Monday to Friday Days, Afternoons & Overnights
• Weekends ALL shift times

Pay Rates - $16.55 - $18.50 per hour

Duties include:

• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Providing personal care to clients (bathing, brief changes, grooming)
• Assistance with ambulation, transfers, daily exercises, and walking
• Managing Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care needs
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Hiring Requirements:

• Successfully complete a mandatory criminal background check
• Experience caring for the elderly
• Speak fluent English
• Have a cellular smartphone
• Must have proof of 2 Covid-19 vaccinations to meet our mandatory vaccination policy
• Have the physical ability to perform the functions of the job descriptions and the ability to lift 25lbs
