I am in a province 3000 miles from Kelowna & have parents who were enjoying the independent retirement life when both developed different versions of Dementia. This wonderful group of people worked in shifts that involved doctors appointments, shopping, or many other outings and handled everything so smoothly that my parents look on them as friends rather than caregivers. They are always on time and confident, and capable of dealing with many different situations, including the uncomfortable ones.
