Agitation is common in dementia disorders and can be extremely distressing for people living with dementia and their caregivers/care partners. In this webinar, Dr. Krista L. Lanctôt will provide an overview of two ongoing clinical trials evaluating new drug treatments for agitation in Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

About the TDRA Webinar Series

TDRA and AST have partnered to host a webinar series highlighting dementia research occurring across Toronto. Each webinar will provide an overview of a research topic in dementia, and will feature an available research study (or studies) related to that topic. Webinars are presented in plain language by primary investigators. These webinars are open to anyone, including individuals living with dementia interested in learning more or taking part in research.

Participation requirements and plain language summaries for the research studies featured in this series can be found on the Toronto Dementia Network (TDN) website: tdn.alz.to/research-studies
