Alistair Hicks is the franchise owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Greater Victoria. He has been with Home Instead since 2000 when he helped launch the Home Instead mission - enhancing the lives of aging adults and their families in Osaka Japan. While living & working in Japan, Alistair's mother fell ill & he was unable to spend enough time back in Canada to care for her. From his experience with the remarkable work of Home Instead Senior Care, he knew this was his opportunity to give back in a way similar to the access he had for his own family. "Home Instead is a service that really captured my heart from the very beginning." It is no surprise that he was the first to own a Canadian Home Instead franchise location, which opened in Toronto in 2001. In 2005, Alister settled in Victoria where he opened a Home Instead franchise. Everyday, he applies his wealth of knowledge & expertise in caring for seniors. Alistair has continued his mission to "Change the face of aging". Alistair spends his free time as a loving husband & father of three.

Allen Reed is the Operations Manager at Home Instead Senior Care Victoria. This Texas native & world traveler has over 25 years of HR and Operations Management experience at businesses ranging from International Airlines to Wall Street Tech. After moving to Victoria in 2016, he found Home Instead & instantly knew he could make a difference in how Seniors are cared for in the place he calls home. Beyond his not so secret passion for antiques, Allen's uncompromising attitude of always doing the right thing has reliably kept the team on the right track in every challenge faced in the line of senior care.

Lindsay Parker is the Home Care Consultant at Home Instead Senior Care Victoria. This West Vancouver native takes great pride in her work in caring about the care provided to others. Starting in the medical field with the North Shore Health prenatal unit & moving into non-profit addictions recovery work in her 40s, when Lindsay moved to Vancouver Island in 2015 she decided that senior care was just the right fit. She is currently loving her life in Sooke where she spends her free time hiking, biking, & enjoying the fresh ocean air. With a penchant for attentive listening, Lindsay's interpersonal skills are regularly the perfect solution to an elder's discomfort at learning to receive care.
