Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Companionship
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assist with feeding
- Accompanying seniors to their appointments
- Grocery shopping
- Alzheimer's and dementia care
- Personal care (assistance with bathing, getting dressed, and/or using the bathroom)
- Accompanying aging adults to and from appointments
Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Willingness to grow and develop
- Ability to work with clients receiving Hospice care or at end of life care
- Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
- Be adaptable with caring for different aging adults
- Complete Background Check will be done once hired
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance if you are able to drive clients is a bonus, however not required
