What’s your favorite part of caregiving?
My favorite part is helping provide independence and integrity for my clients and the trusting relationship that has been created with not only my client but the family as well. On the difficult days I have been able to be a listening ear and voice of reason when the spouse/family is perplexed with the effects of a loved one with Dementia. Also, with being in ministry I’m always grateful when spouse/ family asks for prayer because being a caregiver is sometimes more than meeting a physical/emotional need to my client.
Tell us little bit about yourself:
I am a mother of 10-year-old twin girls who are my rainbow babies 😊 and absolutely love spending time with my family. In addition to juggling a full time and part time job I am also a full time caregiver to my disabled Mother. I enjoy reading inspirational books and traveling.
A couple of interesting things about my life:
As a hobby and stress reliever I make beaded jewelry. I love all things leopard. I have addiction to stainless steel tumblers….I have over 25 😊and counting….
