Full Job Description
The Team Scheduler will work a total of 40 hours per week.
The Hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Primary tasks, duties, and responsibilities:
- Promotes and practices the Home Instead mission and values and follows policies and procedures of the organization.
- Prepares and maintains monthly scheduling calendar, advises colleagues of new or changes to their schedule.
- Receives monthly availability reports from colleagues and communicates with same to obtain additional coverage when necessary. Report any difficulties in scheduling staff.
- Maintains accurate data on requests received, shifts filled, and staff utilization.
- Ensures notification to teams of covered/uncovered needs.
- Assists Human Resources in monitoring and maintaining compliance documents for colleagues.
- Assists in preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Maintains an active roster of staff including current contact information.
- Provides on-call scheduling and holiday coverage as needed on rotating basis.
- Attending meetings, educational offerings and participating on committees.
Educational/Professional:
WellSky/Clearcare EXPIERENCE A PLUS!
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. One year certificate from College or Technical School preferred.
3. 1-3 years staff scheduling required; experience in a home health environment preferred.
4. An equivalent combination of professional experience and education may be considered as meeting the Education/Professional requirements.
