Home Instead Senior Care (Burnaby and South Vancouver) were proud to exhibit at the Burnaby Autumn Job Fair, 2018. The job fair is a central annual event for job seekers looking for career advancement with roles within the Burnaby community.
Home Instead was excited to be part of an distinguished panel of employers (nearly 50 of them!) who were there to present interesting job opportunities to prospective candidates in various industries ranging from senior care, research and communications, caregiving, adult home care, business and community development, retail services, Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, respite care, live-in care, technology, financial services and engineering.
The Home Instead team were amazed at the depth of talent that was in attendance at the job fair and was happy to have screened so many capable candidates to join their family as potential future caregivers.
With BC’s expected increase in seniors’ population, we know that more and more seniors will require the high quality and compassionate home care in the coming years. This need for quality will be met by preparing today and investing in our caregiver resources. At Home Instead Senior Care (Burnaby and South Vancouver) we see that as work that begins now by hiring the right candidates from the rich talent pool in the Burnaby Community. Will our future caregivers be someone we are happy to have care for our own parents? That is the question we constantly think of when hiring our future caregivers. We will work diligently to provide high quality home care services and focus on hiring highly trained, experienced and compassionate caregivers to look after our clients in the face of an ever-growing need for high quality, dignified home care services.
Home Instead offers free monthly newsletters with tips and advice for caregivers of elderly loved ones.
