Objective

We are looking for an innovative and encouraging individual to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator ("REC") is expected to perform a variety of duties for the recruitment of CAREGivers. The REC is expected to recruit, screen, hire, train, and engage our staff of CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality of service to our clients.

Job Requirements

  • Address employment inquiries in a enthusiastic, professional, and knowledgeable manner
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for attracting premium CAREGiver talent by tapping into online and local community resources
  • Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner
  • Conduct reference checks, criminal background checks and review motor vehicle records
  • Create and maintain all employment records and other supporting documentation
  • Conduct CAREGiver orientations and other specialized training programs
  • Evaluate and update CAREGiver orientation material on a regular basis
  • Develop engagement strategies that utilize the 5 CAREGiver needs to promote CAREGiver retention and development
  • Organize and successfully execute work, social and recreational team events to enhance CAREGiver experiences, recognition and engagement
  • Manage periodic CAREGiver performance reviews and offer supervision including regular performance discussions, accountability setting and problem resolution
  • Work in partnership with the Scheduling Department to coordinate CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on providing high quality matches and service relationships to our clients
  • Monitor, mediate and record all client and CAREGiver activities on the operating platform of the business
  • Monitor compliance for local, provincial and federal labor laws including managing claims processes with Work Safe BC.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the CAREGiver base
