We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to fill a role as a Senior Companion and Home Helper and assist seniors in their homes throughout the communities of Markham and Thornhill.

No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead!

Responsibilities:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Transportation and errands
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care

Requirements:

• Must posses a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and valid auto insurance
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Extremely strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
• Complete a criminal background check

Job Type: Part-time

Shifts: A variety of shifts are available including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. We have shifts available during the week and on the weekend as well.

Compensation: Starting at $19.50 per hour
