We can't thank Martinita and Terry enough for the incredible care they've given my dad at the hospital. They've kept him clean and well cared for every single day, which was our biggest priority for him. Martinita always comes prepared with fresh gowns, bath towels, mouth swabs, and everything else he might need, and she speaks to him in such a warm, pleasant voice — "Hello papa, it's me Martinita, I'm here now, you're okay." We can tell he feels safe and comforted just hearing her voice. Terry has gone above and beyond too — on one occasion when dad wasn't looking his best, she didn't let it slide. She called me right away, clearly upset on his behalf, and put the nurse on duty on the phone so I could hear directly what she was seeing. Both of them advocate for my dad with the hospital staff, making sure his needs are heard and met, and they're always on time and completely reliable. There's a real sense of security knowing dad is in their hands when we can't be by his side. They treat my dad like their own family, and that kind of compassion is rare to find.
