Craig King, Owner

Craig King, Owner

Craig has been in the healthcare industry for the past 7 years helping others. When he was younger, he was sellling cars and loved it while it lasted. He got married in 2008 and about the same time the economy was having a major fallout. He went back to school and finished his Bachelors and Masters in Accounting. While finishing school he started marketing for a homecare and hospice company in St. George. Home Instead Senior Care became available in May of 2012 and purchased it in August of the same year. He has a love for people and loves being a business owner in Southern Utah.

Wendy Neilson

Wendy Neilson

Wendy has been with Home Instead Senior Care since October 2012. She brings with her a tremendous love for working in an office environment and managing a variety of tasks. She is a hard-working, prioritizing, dedicated employee who appreciates the value of getting things done. She welcomes new challenges and embraces the opportunity for growth and has remarkable organizational skills.

As Office Administrative Assistant she helps with payroll, billing, insurance, correspondence, company files, and keeping the entire office in order. She enjoys visiting with our clients and CAREGiver's and takes a genuine interest in their lives.

Before Wendy came to Home Instead Senior Care she was at Bella Terra (formerly known as Kolob Care and Rehab), as an Administrative Office Assistant and helped schedule all the medical and dental appointments for the residents there. She lives in Washington City and is married currently to the Mayor of Washington City. They have three children and three grandchildren.

Lisa Farr

Lisa Farr

Lisa joined the St. George Home Instead Senior Care staff in January 2014. She enjoys visiting with family members who are contemplating in-home services for their loved ones, whether they're a parent, grandparent, or other relative.

She has a special insight as to the emotional dynamic they are faced with, as her own mother suffered from dementia until she passed away. Lisa was both the daughter and the caregiver. As her mom's dementia progressed, Lisa found it necessary to hire someone to step in to assist her mom so she could continue to work full-time.

This experience with her mom has enabled Lisa to be empathetic with the families that contact Home Instead Senior Care. Lisa truly cares about the clients and what they are going through as they age, and what their families are dealing with.

Lisa also enjoys interacting with the caregivers employed by Home Instead Senior Care. As the trainer, Lisa is able to pass along insightful information because of her first-hand experience as her mother's caregiver. She has a passion for providing exceptional caregivers to the clients. This desire is evident as she interviews, hires, and trains each caregiver.

Lisa loves living in Southern Utah and serving the elderly as well as their families. As a mother of three children and a daughter of an aging father, Lisa is convinced that the adage "it takes a village" not only applies to raising children but includes the opposite end of life's journey.

Nydia Owes

Nydia has always valued the experience of serving others. She developed this important and fulfilling attribute at a young age because her Mom's disabilities did not affect her willingness to help and serve others. Because of this, Nydia not only learned to serve her mom, but the elderly, disabled and those in need.

By having these life-long experiences, she started her first job in the medical field in 2003. She was hired as a scheduler for a private duty company in Florida. After working in the office, she decided to get hands on experience in the field and also began working as a home health aide. She eventually went on to acquire her CNA license. With this knowledge, experience and skills, she has worked in the health industry for about 15 years now. She has ben a scheduler, home health aide and CNA that has worked for private duty, home health agencies, and St. Joseph hospital in Tampa, Florida.

She currently resides in St. George, Utah and has been here since 2008. Nydia finds it a privilege to work for Home Instead Senior Care and loves to know that she is working for a company that provides the much needed services to the elderly and disabled in our community.
