This month we celebrate Leanne for creating Motion with Meaning,
Leanne has been with Home Instead since 2016, providing consistent, thoughtful, and compassionate care throughout her years of service.
Time and again, she has demonstrated how important it is to keep clients engaged, active, and connected. She has helped her client remain involved, not only in their home but also in the community. Leanne and her clients get their steps in!
Leanne helps her people move even when there are challenges. For her elderly clients, having someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable by their side has made all the difference. Leanne always finds a way to become a trusted friend and the activities are a wonderful bonus.
In October Leanne started visiting a client living with dementia who was feeling overwhelmed during outings. She has made it possible for her to go to her favorite places again, such as greenhouses, through being aware and sensitive to how things may overwhelm her. Adapting the outing made it a success.
