We want to recognize and congratulate Janet for being chosen the Caregiver of the month for January.

We are thrilled to announce that we have selected, Janet, as our CAREGiver of the month for January 2022, making this a superb way to begin the year at Home Instead! This was an easy selection for us, as we have noticed the wonderful work you’ve been doing since becoming part of the Home Instead team. So far, you have worked 794 hours and met 18 different clients. And wow, are they lucky to have you as their CAREGiver!

Of course, we appreciate your flexibility and excellent communication with our office. You are dependable, consistent, and always well-prepared. When I introduce you to a new client, I notice you attentively take in any last-minute pointers or suggestions. You actively listen, ask your questions and away we go to the fun part of bringing you into a new home and watching you immediately engage as if you’ve known them forever. I feel good when leaving, knowing that our new client will have a fantastic day with you. As you well know, not all situations are easy or comfortable but your ability to understand, to reassure and connect with people, is what makes you an outstanding CAREGiver. We know we can send you to anyone and you will do your very best not only to provide excellent care but also to engage with clients, ensuring they have a well-balanced visit. In your gentle, considerate manner, you find moments to build on the relationship. For example, Mr. A shared his fears with you. What an honor that he allowed himself to be vulnerable with you. Clients trust you and feel safe. That’s not to say you don’t let out your playful side on occasion. Clients enjoy you and look forward to having fun together. YOU discovered Chad had the best laugh in the world! These things occur when a person feels secure and comfortable, and you allow that to happen.

Janet, your joyful, selfless spirit, and compassionate heart shine through with a ripple effect to others. You give clients a reason to get up today and something to look forward to tomorrow. You were a Christmas angel for offering your time during the holiday, making your client and his family very happy. We have heard you express how much you enjoy your work and new-found career. You demonstrate this daily as you form bonds with clients and their families. You work well with other CAREGivers and with our administrative team. You make the difference out there and we are grateful to have you as part of our team. It’s clear to us Janet, that each day, you enter with an open heart and leave with a full one and we are thankful for you and the gifts you bring to the Home Instead team. Thank you for providing exceptional care to our clients.
