We want to recognize and congratulate Becky for being chosen the Caregiver of the month for November.

Congratulations Becky on being chosen for Caregiver of the month! You have been with us from Feb 2021 and we were all saddened to learn that you needed to step away in May, and then what a gift it was to have you back as a full-time CAREGiver in October. You are energetic and hardworking and have seen 24 different clients.

Becky you are always ready and willing to jump in wherever you are needed.  You are confident in your caregiving skills AND apparently acting skills, playing the role of an admin assistant at a business office.  You agreed to this unique dementia care assignment in order to help a business owner, living with dementia, continue to live a life with purpose.  You understand and anticipate that your clients living with dementia will get upset at times and you show each time how you accept those days and moments as opportunities to reach out and offer them a lifeline. You bring a gentle calm voice and warm smile and take the lead.

Through a variety of assignments where it was essential that you not to take upsets personally, you make this work look easy!

There are so many examples of this, but one instance comes to mind for me. I think about G & A – these visits started off rough in the first couple of weeks.  G was upset and she wanted things done, but didn’t want you to touch anything! You called to give us a heads up on what was going on, and when I asked how you were doing after the shift you said, OH I’m fine, you just felt badly for how much they were struggling.  In the middle of all of this chaos, you learned that their children had cancelled coming for thanksgiving, and this elderly couple were not able to cope with their frustration and emotion.

You handled the whole situation so tenderly, professionally, and most of all, you stuck with them to earn their trust to be able to provide much needed care.

You always look for solutions to help your clients have the highest quality of life, and always give the necessary reports back to the office.

You have been reliable even with not-so-great weather conditions coming in from the country. And on top of all of this, a devoted mom to two boys!!

We are so lucky to have you as part of our team.  Congratulation on this well-deserved award.
