Home Instead Founder and Chairman Paul Hogan

Paul Hogan, Founder and Chairman

Paul began his senior care career as a family caregiver and served as one of the first professional CAREGivers in Home Instead history. Today, Paul lives his mission to enhance the quality of life for older adults and their families by serving on a number of global boards, including the World Dementia Council. Hogan has also served as a governor for the Future of Health and Health Care System at the World Economic Forum (WEF), vice chair for the WEF Global Agenda Council on Ageing and as a steward for the WEF System on the Future of Education, Gender and Work.

For his success in exporting the home care business concept to other countries, Hogan was awarded the President’s “E” Award by the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2008, and in 2016, he received the “E” Star Award for continued excellence in exporting. In recognition of his contributions to franchising, Hogan was named the Entrepreneur of the Year for 2006 by the International Franchise Association.

Hogan co-authored, Stages of Senior Care (McGraw-Hill), a USA Today Bestseller. Proceeds from book sales go to the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation, which provides financial support to non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life of older adults.

Home Instead Co-Founder Lori Hogan

Lori Hogan, Co-Founder

Lori co-founded Home Instead Senior Care with her husband Paul in 1994 based on the family’s personal caregiving experience with Paul’s grandmother. In her role at Home Instead, Lori frequently meets with CAREGiversâ„  and advocates on their behalf.

A tireless advocate for improving the lives of older adults and their families, Lori volunteers with a number of organizations including The Home Instead Center for Successful Aging at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Broadway Dreams and the American Heart Association Sweetheart Program.

Lori authored Strength for the Moment, a book to encourage and celebrate caregivers. The proceeds of this book go to the Home Instead Foundation, a non-profit entity that provides support to social service organizations that serve seniors.

Home Instead Chief Executive Officer Jeff Huber

Jeff Huber, Chief Executive Officer

Jeff joined Home Instead in 1998 as a franchise development manager and today leads the organization on key initiatives, oversees strategic planning and advocacy for the Home Instead network, as well as managing day-to-day operations at the Global Headquarters.

Jeff’s passion for creating a higher quality of life for aging adults and their families comes through in his global advocacy for policies that support family caregivers. He has increased the organization’s commitment to leadership development and training to empower professional and family caregivers and to advance the mission of Home Instead Senior Care: to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. Jeff is a frequent speaker on aging topics at events on the global stage, including the Silver Economy Forum, the Financial Times Dementia Summit and the Milken Future of Health Summit. He is a member of AARP CEO Champions, Fast Company Impact Council, G100 Network and the World Economic Forum, among other leadership positions in the industry.

Jeff graduated magna cum laude from the Creighton University School of Law and summa cum laude from Creighton University. Jeff practiced law for four years, including two years as a law clerk for a United States District Court judge.

Jim Hood, President

Jim joined Home Instead in 2013, leading the organization through an information technology expansion and transformation that enhanced the abilities of both the brand and the franchises to provide high-quality personalized care at home in a digital world.

Today, Jim leads global operations of the franchise network and is particularly adept at delivering problem solving at scale. Jim has more than 20 years of experience in information technology, software development, and leadership. After earning a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University, Jim spent most of his career driving business outcomes through software application and digital solutions. Before Home Instead, Jim worked across industries including telecommunications, transportation, publishing, and agriculture.

Home Instead Chief Development Officer John Hogan

John Hogan, Chief Development Officer

John Hogan serves in the role of chief development officer working strategically with many of the company’s leaders on the performance of Home Instead’s core business, as well as, many of its affiliate businesses. John started his career at Home Instead Senior Care in 1995 as manager of the Omaha franchise office, which was the company's only franchise at the time.

Since then, John has served as franchise training manager, vice president of Operations and vice president for Training and Technology. John also sits on the Board of Directors for Home Instead Foundation and feels there's so much more to the company's phenomenal success than meets the eye.

Home Instead Global Chief Brand Officer Jessie Brumbach

Jessie Brumbach, Global Chief Brand Officer

Jessie leads global brand strategy for Home Instead. Her team executes creative, publicity, advertising and user experience. Jessie’s career in marketing includes several years in the motion picture industry and telecommunications leading marketing, promotions and product management. Jessie currently serves on the Advisory Board of HomeCare 100 and Board of Directors at Hawthorne Strategies Group.

Jisella Dolan, Chief Global Advocacy Officer

Jisella provides high-calibre leadership to the Advocacy division, which includes the Standards, Legal, Government Affairs, Healthcare Transformation, and Thought Leadership teams. These departments advocate for aging adults and their families, ensure a consistent quality care experience, maintain the excellence of the brand, and shape aging, home care, and healthcare policy around the world.

Jisella serves on multiple global and national boards and committees, including with the Global Coalition on Aging, World Economic Forum (WEF), RAISE Act Council, and Home Care Association of America. Jisella graduated from the University of Nebraska's College of Law and was a member of Order of the Coif, the Nebraska Law Review and Phi Beta Kappa.

Home Instead Global Chief Financial Officer Donn Raymond

Donn Raymond, Global Chief Financial Officer

Donn leads the finance and human resource teams, which oversee all aspects of the organization’s financial portfolio and the strategic use of financial and human resources to help us achieve our vision.

Prior to joining Home Instead in 2019, Donn spent 13 years as CFO for an ecommerce company. He has also worked in public accounting and held senior positions for organizations in technology and retail. Donn is a Certified Public Accountant, and he has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Home Instead CEO, UK Division Martin Jones

Martin Jones, CEO, UK Division

As CEO of Home Instead Senior Care UK, Martin Jones is responsible for leading all areas of Home Instead’s UK operation. Martin’s passion for improving the quality of life for aging adults and their families grew out of his first-hand experience when his father became seriously ill and needed in-home care.

Martin lives his passion for caregiving not only through his position as leader of the UK Division but by holding various trustee positions and serving on numerous boards, including The Care Workers Charity, Age UK and Chair of The Silver Line and Home Instead’s dedicated charity Bring Joy Foundation.

Home Instead Chief Operating Officer, U.S. and Canada Dave Banark

Dave Banark, Chief Operating Officer, U.S. and Canada

Dave Banark oversees operations for our corporate-owned franchise offices, as well as franchise support and training functions for the Home Instead® network. Dave joined the organization in 1998 as general manager of the first Home Instead franchise office in Omaha, Nebraska. He served as vice president of Franchise Support in 2004 before assuming his current role in January 2012.

Before joining Home Instead, Inc., Dave worked at Metro Medical Transportation in Omaha — an experience that taught him the challenges of operating a service business in a highly competitive environment.

Home Instead Chief Operating Officer, International Division Mike Boyer

Mike Boyer, Chief Operating Officer, International Division

Mike Boyer leads Home Instead’s International Division, overseeing international operations and business development for Home Instead, Inc.—including 500 offices in 11 countries, employing 25,000 CAREGivers, and serving more than 45,000 clients daily.

Before joining Home Instead, Mike held senior positions in sectors including healthcare, media, and philanthropy. He has written on international affairs and appeared as a commentator for media outlets around the world. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
