Our Social Purpose
At Home Instead, Inc. we’re not just in business for the provision of senior care. We hope to create a future where all people can age with greater comfort and independence. We strive to make that vision a reality by creating a world that's Ready to Care℠ for each other.
This vision drives us to fearlessly create today, the world we want to grow old in tomorrow through a program called Ready to Care by Home Instead®.
Take Action with Ready to Care
Change starts with you. You don’t need to be a superhero to make a positive impact in an older adult’s life. There are simple ways to get involved in your community, from small acts of kindness to making a donation to a nonprofit that serves older adults.
Get Kindness Ideas: Research has shown that acts of kindness can improve the physical and mental health of older adults and strengthen the bond between the giver and the recipient. Sign up to get weekly texts that encourage you to spread kindness to seniors in your community.
Become a Pen Pal: Imagine going days or weeks without hearing from another person. According to the CDC, one in four older adults experiences social isolation. But we can change that! Write a letter to a senior to brighten their day.
Give a Holiday Gift: There’s nothing better than a loved one beaming with joy while unwrapping a gift. For the 43% of older adults who experience loneliness and isolation, this magical season can be less than joyful. Help us ensure no senior feels forgotten this year through our annual holiday gift giving program.
Give to Nonprofit that Serve Seniors: Since 2003, the Home Instead Charities® has supported more than 1.5 million older adults through charitable programs that improve and enhance the quality of their life. Help seniors in need by making a gift today.
Become an Aging Advocate: Our world needs a future workforce of aging advocates to help lead within their organizations and offer creative solutions for the needs of older adults. Our paid service year, Champions of Aging by Home Instead®, builds workforce skills and empowers advocates of aging.
"Not everyone will be our Client, but we can offer something to everyone."
